Welcome to The Bridge Music Bar! Our story began decades ago whe our owner, Susan Coe, developed an interest in entrepreneurship. Her first entrepreneurial experience came at Howlers live music venue, which she owned and operated for over 20 years. Howlers was forced to close in 2020 due to the pandemic. Susan was forced to make a decision on the next chapter of her life. With her love of music and the arts along with her commitment to the betterment of East LIberty, she knew she was not ready to hang it up. She had been eyeing the current location of The Bridge for over a decade. Susan always knew that this location would be the place if she were to ever relocate or open a new restaurant/bar. Through a desire to pay homage to the rich arts history in East Liberty, The Bridge Music Bar was born in August 2022. A lot has changed in the East End of PIttsburgh and the music scene over the past 20 years. We are striving to do our best to make this the greatest neighborhood in the City of PIttsburgh and the best place to hear live music in a venue of this size.
